MADRID, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo have completed the signing of Barcelona B-team goalkeeper, Marc Vidal.
The 24-year-old, who made 25 appearances for Barcelona B in the third tier of the Spanish game (RFEF I) last season, has agreed to a four-year deal with the team from the northwest of Spain.
Vidal spent last season on loan at Barca B from second division Andorra, after playing six times for them in the previous season. However, Andorra's relegation at the end of the campaign meant they were willing to release him from the remaining year of his contract.
"I'm very happy to be here (…) said Vidal on the Celta website, highlighting that the club's style of playing from the back fitted into his game.
"That's good for me and that is one reason I am here," he said, adding that he wasn't scared of taking risks and that he was "fast and agile." ■
