BEIJING, July 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 60 km WSW of Atiquipa, Peru at 1403 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 21.3 km, was initially determined to be at 15.96 degrees south latitude and 74.90 degrees west longitude. ■
