NEW YORK, July 5 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted the Chile-Argentina border region at 18:53:04 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 91.6 km, was initially determined to be at 28.80 degrees south latitude and 69.17 degrees west longitude. ■
