NEW YORK, Jul. 4 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Vancouver Island, Canada Region at 2024-07-04 16:15:13 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 48.88 degrees north latitude and 128.77 degrees west longitude. ■
