LISBON, July 4 (Xinhua) -- One person died and another was seriously injured after an explosion occurred Thursday afternoon at the New University of Lisbon in Almada, a city in the metropolitan region of the Portuguese capital.
The accident took place at a technology park of the university's Faculty of Science and Technology, the Setubal Civil Protection Sub-Regional Command confirmed.
The explosion was reported to have originated from a pressure test container. ■
