ISLAMABAD -- At least three people were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, police said on Wednesday.

RAMALLAH -- A young Palestinian man in the northern West Bank city of Jenin was killed by Israeli forces on Wednesday, the Palestinian health authorities said.

YAOUNDE -- At least five soldiers and six civilians were killed on Tuesday after armed rebels raided two army bases in the Central African Republic (CAR), military sources and officials said.
