LUANDA, July 1 (Xinhua) -- TAAG Angola Airlines, the country's flag-carrying airlines, will resume flights from Luanda, Angola's capital, to Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of the Congo, starting Aug. 2, according to a press release issued by the company on Monday.
The Luanda-Brazzaville route will replace the existing Luanda-Point Noire route, whose final flight is scheduled for July 26.
The new route will be operated by a Dash-8 400 aircraft with a total capacity of 74 passengers. Flights will depart from Luanda twice a week on Fridays and Sundays.
It will enhance TAAG's connectivity and traffic within the Southern Africa Development Community, the press release said. ■
