HANOI -- The corporate income tax on Vietnam's small and micro-sized enterprises might be cut to 15-17 percent from a current common rate of 20 percent, depending on previous revenues, according to the country's draft amendments to the Law on Corporate Income Tax, Vietnam News Agency reported Friday.
The Ministry of Finance has proposed a tax rate of 15 percent for enterprises with revenues of less than 3 billion Vietnamese dong (117,800 U.S. dollars) per year and 17 percent for enterprises with revenues between 3 billion dong and 50 billion dong (1.9 million dollars). (Vietnam-Tax-Businesses)

BANGKOK -- Thailand's exports rose for a second straight month to a 14-month high in May, thanks to a surge in agricultural product shipments and a strong recovery in the global manufacturing sector, official data showed on Friday.

KATHMANDU -- Nepal's import of electric four-wheelers grew significantly to 11,466 during the first 11 months of the current fiscal year ending in mid-July, the Department of Customs announced on Friday.
