YIYANG, June 19 (Xinhua) -- In recent years, local authorities of Chaohu Lake in east China's Anhui Province and Datong Lake in central China's Hunan Province have adopted new modes to improve agricultural development. In Huailin Town near Chaohu Lake, organic fertilizers are applied to protect the ecological environment. An unmanned farm was built in 2023 in Datonghu District of Yiyang City, where farm machines can be controlled in remote and a smart agriculture platform can automatically collect and analyze data during paddy rice cultivation and make decisions on farm work.
