SINGAPORE, June 18 (Xinhua) -- The non-oil domestic exports (NODX) in Singapore contracted 0.1 percent year-on-year in May, following the 9.6 percent decline in April, the government agency Enterprise Singapore said Tuesday.
The figure marked the mildest drop in 20 months, it added.
Non-electronic NODX declined 6 percent year-on-year in May, while the exports of electronic products expanded 21.9 percent.
NODX to Singapore's top markets as a whole grew last month. China's Hong Kong, Malaysia, and the United States were the largest contributors to the growth.
Singapore's domestic oil exports increased 30.1 percent year-on-year in May, bringing a 14.2-percent expansion to the country's total trade. ■
