NEW YORK, June 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted central Peru at 22:46:53 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 8.61 degrees south latitude and 75.88 degrees west longitude. ■
