KUALA LUMPUR, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia, the world's second largest palm oil producer, saw its palm oil stocks grow 0.5 percent from the previous month to 1.75 million tons in May, official data showed Monday.
According to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), Malaysia's crude palm oil (CPO) production for the cited month increased by 13.48 percent month on month to 1.7 million tons.
Meanwhile, the Southeast Asian country's palm oil exports rose 11.6 percent month on month to 1.38 million tons. Its palm oil imports, on the other hand, plunged 40.28 percent month on month to 20,761 tons. ■
