SINGAPORE, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Singaporean police investigated 128 suspects aged between 14 and 73 for illegal moneylending activities from May 27 to May 31, according to the latest statement from police.
Preliminary investigations showed that 17 suspects conducted harassment at debtors' residences, 47 assisted unlicensed moneylenders by carrying out ATM transfers and 64 helped illegal moneylending with their bank accounts.
Investigations against the suspects were ongoing. ■
