80 pct chance global warming will breach 1.5-degree threshold in 5 years: WMO

GENEVA, June 5 (Xinhua) -- There is an 80 percent chance that annual global temperatures will surpass 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels for at least one of the next five years, the UN weather and climate agency warned on Wednesday. ■
