Lily Cup, a renowned grassroots table tennis competition in China, opened on Thursday in Baoji City in northwestern China's Shaanxi Province. Originally initiated by local table tennis fans, Lily Cup has become a well-known event in the country since it was first held in 2006.
This year, after five years, the competition once again invited international paddlers, including African champions, Malaysian national team members and also amateurs from Pakistan, Indonesia and other countries and regions. While improving their skills and friendship by competing with Chinese paddlers, they also experienced more convenience in competing, traveling and accommodation in China.
