NEW DELHI, May 31 (Xinhua) -- India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves dropped by over 2 billion U.S. dollars during the week ended May 24, the country's central bank, the Reserve Bank of India, said in a weekly bulletin on Friday.
The forex reserves stood at 646.67 billion dollars, a drop after gaining a total of 10.8 billion dollars in the previous three weeks, The Hindu newspaper said in a report.
The country's foreign currency assets stood at 567.499 billion dollars, while the gold reserves stood at 56.713 billion dollars, said the central bank bulletin. ■
