SHENYANG, May 29 (Xinhua) -- In recent years, Shenyang in northeast China's Liaoning Province has boosted efforts to better develop biomedicine and medical equipment industries, laying a foundation to form medical industrial clusters.
In 2023, Shenyang's biomedical and medical equipment industry achieved a total industrial output value of 28.16 billion yuan (about 3.89 billion U.S. dollars) with a year-on-year increase of 5.4%. And three national technology centers have been cultivated.
In the future, Shenyang will increase its support toward innovation and promote the construction of leading pharmaceutical enterprises and related industrial parks.
