BEIJING, May 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted off west coast of northern Sumatra, Indonesia at 1152 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 2.82 degrees north latitude and 95.72 degrees east longitude. ■
