LHASA, May 27 (Xinhua) -- The Mount Qomolangma National Park has recently entered peak tourism season which usually spans from May to October every year.
From Jan. 1 to May 20 this year, the Mount Qomolangma scenic area has received about 136,000 tourists. In 2023, the scenic area had received about 464,000 tourists and saw its ticket revenue totaling 110 million yuan (about 15.2 million U.S. dollars).
