SINGAPORE, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's business receipts index for the service industries increased 10.5 percent year-on-year in the first quarter this year, the Department of Statistics said Monday.
The revenue of recreation and personal services grew 25.9 percent year-on-year in the first three months, supported by higher earnings of firms in the gaming and attractions segments.
The information and communications industry reported a year-on-year increase of 24.9 percent in revenue.
Meanwhile, the administrative and support services saw a marginal decline of 0.1 percent, with rental and leasing activities recording lower turnover. ■
