YANGON, May 23 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed and two others were injured in a bridge explosion in southern Myanmar's Mon State on Thursday, the Information Team of Myanmar's State Administration Council reported.

The bridge, which is located on the Yangon-Mawlamyine Pyidaungsu road in Belin Township of Mon State, exploded at around 5 a.m. local time on Thursday due to a mine planted by terrorists, the information team said.
