BEIJING, May 23 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices were lower in the morning session Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1 percent to 3,126.82 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index went down 1.19 percent at 9,577.91 points at midday. ■
