HONG KONG, May. 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted Papua New Guinea Region at 03:36:03 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 77.9 km, was initially determined to be at 6.41 degrees south latitude and 147.28 degrees east longitude. ■
