HANOI, May 20 (Xinhua) -- Vietnamese businesses have been advised to pay greater attention to trademark protection during online exporting activities, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported Monday.
Trade experts said trademark protection in cyberspace is not only a strategic step to protect the rights and image of Vietnamese firms but also an effective way to expand markets and increase revenue.
Vietnamese businesses have been advised to seize the opportunity to protect their products and enhance their competitiveness and reputation in major markets.
According to the VNA, the Department of E-Commerce and Digital Economy under the Ministry of Industry and Trade has launched the Go Export program, which assists domestic firms in trademark registration and protection as well as dispute settlement in the international market. ■
