CANNES, France, May 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese filmmakers Jia Zhang-Ke and Guan Hu have brought their works to the 77th Cannes Film Festival on the French Riviera.

The film "Feng Liu Yi Dai (Caught by the Tides)" directed by Jia Zhang-Ke premiered Saturday in Cannes. It competes in the top prize category.

The film "Gou Zhen" (Black Dog) directed by Guan Hu competes in the category Un Certain Regard of the festival.
