ST. PETERSBURG, May 17 (Xinhua) -- A blast occurred in a military academy in the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg, Russia's second largest city, on Friday, local media reported.
Preliminary information showed that the explosion was caused by a training munition blast in the basement, Russia's RIA news agency reported, citing local emergency authorities. ■
