AYBAK, Afghanistan, May 17 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and six others were injured in a road accident in north Afghanistan's Samangan province, local media Tolonews reported on Friday.
The accident occurred after two vehicles collided in Hazrat Sultan district along the highway linking Samangan to Balkh province on Thursday night, leaving three, including two children, dead on the spot and six others injured, the report added.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. ■
