SINGAPORE, May 17 (Xinhua) -- The non-oil domestic exports (NODX) in Singapore contracted 9.3 percent year-on-year in April, following the 20.8 percent contraction in March, the government agency Enterprise Singapore said Friday.
Non-electronic NODX declined 12.3 percent year-on-year in April, easing from the 23.2 percent decrease in the previous month.
NODX to Singapore's top markets as a whole dropped in April. The United States, the European Union, and South Korea were the top contributors to the decline.
Singapore's domestic oil exports grew 17.5 percent year-on-year in April, bringing a 15.7 percent expansion to the country's total trade. ■
