3 teenage boys charged after house fire in Australia's Queensland

SYDNEY, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Three boys, aged 15, 14 and 13, respectively, have been charged by police following a fire that destroyed two houses in the Australian State of Queensland, according to the Queensland Police.

Police said that emergency services were called to a building site at approximately 2 a.m. local time on Tuesday following reports of a fire.

No one was physically injured, but two houses under construction were extensively damaged.

On Wednesday, the Queensland Police said three teenage boys have been charged. The 15-year-old boy has been charged with two counts of arson (structure or building), as well as one count each of entering premises with intent to commit an indictable offence, and endangering particular property by fire.

Both the 14-year-old boy and the 13-year-old boy have been charged with two counts of arson, and one count each of entering premises with intent, and endangering particular property by fire.
