YANGON, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed on spot in a car crash on Yangon-Bago Road in Bago Region of southern Myanmar on Sunday, a traffic police officer from Bago Region said on Monday.
The traffic accident occurred on Sunday when a pickup truck en route to Bago city lost control and collided with the blocks in the middle of the road, subsequently being hit by a 22-wheeled vehicle on the other side of the road, he said.
"All three people in the pickup vehicle, two males and one female, died on the spot," the police officer added.
The deceased have not yet been identified, and it is not known where they are from, the police officer said.
The deceased were transported to the Bago General Hospital, he added. ■
