HONG KONG, May 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted Leyte, the Philippines at 1016 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 10.79 degrees north latitude and 125.47 degrees east longitude. ■
