KUALA LUMPUR, April 29 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia saw an increase in dengue fever cases over a week with four new deaths, the Ministry of Health reported on Monday.
Reported dengue fever cases increased to 2,321 in the period from April 14 to 20, compared with 1,698 cases recorded in the previous week, the ministry said in a statement.
Four new deaths were also reported, bringing the total figure in 2024 to 39, compared with 22 deaths for the same period last year. ■
