ISLAMABAD, April 28 (Xinhua) -- Two terrorists were killed in an operation by security forces in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Sunday, the military said in a statement.
The incident occurred in the Dera Ismail Khan district where the troops conducted the offensive by acting on an intelligence tip-off, the military's media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in the statement.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as civilians, said the ISPR. ■
