DHAKA, April 26 (Xinhua) -- A three-day fair on international agriculture technology has kicked off in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka with a view to enriching the entrepreneurs and farmers with the knowledge of the latest agricultural technology innovation and inputs.
The 12th edition of "International GrainTech Bangladesh-2024" is concurrent with "AgroTech Bangladesh-2024" and "FoodTech Dhaka Expo-2024".
The exhibition, which was jointly organized by the Rural Development Academy (RDA) and Limra Trade Fairs and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, began Thursday at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) and it will continue until Saturday.
Inaugurated by the Bangladeshi Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Md Tazul Islam, the exhibition features 325 companies from 14 countries.
It has been showcasing various agro-tech products across 540 stalls.
The exhibition has brought together rice mills, feed mills, flour mills, pulse mills, lab equipment, ingredients, animal health technology, processing plants, bakery machinery and related technologies under one roof. ■
