BEIJING, April 23 (Xinhua) -- A 6.3-magnitude earthquake jolted sea area off Taiwan's Hualien County at 2:26 a.m. Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 23.70 degrees north latitude and 121.68 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, the center said. ■
