An international highline competition was held in Hejin City, north China's Shanxi Province, on Saturday. 20 participants from China, France, Germany, Spain and several other nations competed at a height of 170 meters above the ground.
Slacklining requires athletes to walk or perform elaborate movements on a nylon rope just 2.5 centimeters wide. Highline is the most extreme event in slackline sport, in which contestants compete hundreds of meters above the ground.
