GUANGZHOU, April 17 (Xinhua) -- The 135th session of the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, opened Monday in Guangzhou, the capital of south China's Guangdong Province.
A significant highlight of this year's fair is the exhibition dedicated to new energy vehicles and smart mobility solutions, which has garnered immense interest from numerous international buyers.
Recognizing the growing global demand for environmentally friendly transportation options, the Canton Fair has organized trade promotion activities for overseas buyers interested in procuring new energy vehicles.
The opening day of the Canton Fair saw enthusiastic participation from overseas buyers. As of April 16th, nearly 90,000 overseas buyers from 210 countries and regions have attended the offline sessions, representing a 21.8 percent increase compared to the same period in the previous sessions.
