NEW YORK, April 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted 272 km W of Houma, Tonga, at 21:31:48 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 389.9 km, was initially determined to be at 21.27 degrees south latitude and 177.93 degrees west longitude. ■
