PHNOM PENH, April 17 (Xinhua) -- On the final day of the four-day traditional New Year festival in Cambodia, Cambodian Buddhist monks and devotees gather at the Kol Tor Teung pagoda in Phnom Penh for a Buddha-bathing ceremony.

During the sacred ritual, people tenderly bathe Buddha statues, monks, elders, and parents to apologize for past mistakes and get their forgiveness and blessing.
