YANGON, April 16 (Xinhua) -- Six people, including a child, were injured in a bomb attack in Southern Myanmar's Tanintharyi Region, according to the release of the Information Team of Myanmar's State Administration Council late Tuesday.
It happened around 4 p.m. local time on Tuesday, which was carried out by terrorists, the information team said.
A bomb was dropped onto Pulau Township general hospital in Tanintharyi Region, landing on the pediatric ward.
The injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at the hospital, and efforts to find and charge the terrorists responsible for the attack are ongoing, the information team said. ■
