HANOI, April 16 (Xinhua) -- The Vietnam's real estate market has witnessed a slew of projects, including billion-dollar projects, being announced and called for investment in the first quarter of 2024, Vietnam News Agency reported Tuesday, citing the Vietnam Association of Realtors.
A series of billion-dollar real estate projects have simultaneously been commenced in the first quarter, ready to supply abundant sources to the market, said the report.
Tran Van Binh, the association's vice chairman and general secretary, said after a prolonged period of cautious monitoring of market developments, customers and investors were beginning to clearly show their interest in real estate.
He cited that up to 70 percent of customers and investors are willing to purchase real estate in 2024 if they find suitable products, according to the association's survey. Land plots and low-rise properties are the two segments receiving the most attention. ■
