Chinese shares close higher Monday

BEIJING, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.26 percent to 3,057.38 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1.53 percent higher at 9,369.7 points. ■
