GAZA, April 14 (Xinhua) -- Gaza City, the most populous city in the Gaza Strip, suffered extensive destruction from months of Israeli strikes. Many homes remain vacant as tens of thousands of residents, evacuated last October, have yet to return. The city's restoration may take years.
