KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia, the world's second largest palm oil producer, saw its palm oil stockpile drop 10.68 percent to 1.71 million tons in March from a month earlier, official data showed Monday.
The Malaysian Palm Oil Board data showed that the crude palm oil production increased by 10.57 percent month on month to 1.39 million tons.
Malaysia's palm oil exports also surged 28.61 percent month on month to 1.32 million tons. Its palm oil imports, however, plunged 32.75 percent month on month to 21,894 tons. ■
