LAS VEGAS, April 13 (Xinhua) -- The largest annual show for media, entertainment and technology in the United States kicked off Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The show, organized by the U.S. National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), offers a platform for media and entertainment professionals to showcase the latest innovations in the media industry, forge strategic partnerships, and shape the future of content creation.

AI, content creation, streaming and NextGen TV are the hot topics in the conference halls and on the exhibit floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The show has attracted over 1,200 exhibitors from the United States and around the world, Kari Jacobson, director of sales at the NAB, told Xinhua. The show floor has seen an increase of 10 percent compared with last year.

A total of 126 Chinese exhibitors have registered to attend the show, up from 77 last year, she said.

A series of sessions and conferences are held on the sidelines of the show, including more than 150 sessions focusing on AI technologies, according to the NAB.

Attendees are expected to examine the impact of generative AI on all aspects of media, entertainment and technology, including broadcasting, content creation, production and workflows.

The show runs from Sunday to Wednesday.
