ISLAMABAD, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and 10 others injured in a road accident in Pakistan's east Punjab province on Thursday, local reports said.
The incident happened in Faisalabad district when a car hit a passenger van coming from the opposite direction, the report said.
The deceased included a woman and her three kids in the car who were on their way to visit relatives as part of the tradition of the Eid al-Fitr.
The injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
Police said that overspeeding of the car led to the accident as its driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a turn and hit the van. ■
