BISHKEK, April 9 (Xinhua) -- The Asian Wrestling Championships will be held in Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek, according to President of the Wrestling Federation of Kyrgyzstan Melis Turganbaev.
The tournament will take place from April 11 to 16. A total of 30 sets of medals will be contested in Greco-Roman and freestyle categories among men and women.
The Asian Championships were previously held in Bishkek in 2007 and 2018.
Turganbaev added that the Asian qualifying tournament for Olympic wrestling competitions will also be held in Bishkek between April 19 and 21. ■
