AMMAN, April 8 (Xinhua) -- The Jordan Armed Forces conducted on Monday seven airdrops of aid to the northern Gaza Strip with the participation of other countries.
The airdrops, which included humanitarian aid and relief materials, targeted several locations in the northern Gaza Strip, the state-run Petra news agency reported.
Two aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force and several other aircraft from the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, the United States, Germany and the Netherlands participated in the operation, the report said.
The Jordan Armed Forces said it would continue sending humanitarian and medical aid to the people in the Gaza Strip to help them overcome the difficult conditions during Ramadan.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, 74 airdrops of aid have been conducted by the Jordan Armed Forces and 159 conducted in cooperation with other countries. ■
