ISLAMABAD, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Two terrorists were killed by the Pakistani security forces on Sunday during a clash in North Waziristan district of Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said.
The terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with the security forces, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said in a statement in the afternoon.
Weapons and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, said the statement.
A clearance operation had been conducted in the area to eliminate the possible presence of more terrorists, according to the ISPR. ■
