NEW YORK, April 5 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Tonga Islands at 20:32:14 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 149.4 km, was initially determined to be at 18.21 degrees south latitude and 174.21 degrees west longitude. ■
